this is a shitpost but also a genuine question. how did the ancient greeks just Forget how to write?
context: so the Very ancient greeks had linear b right. (Very ancient greeks = so ancient that ppl weren't sure they were greek. and then after years of trying to decipher the script and assembling a team of linguists at bletchley park some guy was like 'hey. what if it was actually. just greek' and then it turned it was indeed. just greek)
and then they...didn't. and the dark ages began. and then after the dark ages they got this new-fangled alphabet from the phoenicians and were like hey. what if (consider) we used it to. write things down
can any classicist please weigh in and tell me what the Fuck happened and how an entire society can just Forget writing?? I cannot think of another civilisation, ever, where this has happened
#classics#classics side of tumblr#ancient greek#linear b#this is a real question btw. I don't understand lol

#A good episode. Nice animation. It's suuuuuuch a shame things had to go downhilla right for episode 3 like... That's such an awful timing#And I'm like very evry positive I'm not making stuff up. I will let drawings quality slide since that's a matter of personal taste#But the animation is infinitely more static in ep3.#There's endless shots (that literally span for minutes. I know I've counted) where nothing happens. It's so hhhhhhhhhhhh#(Btw for anyone who forgot / wasn't there at the time: the first 3 season 5 episodes had to be ready earlier for an early screening.#That's why they had to rush to make them and the quality suffered for it in the last episode in particular.)#Sorry for being redoundant but you know how it is. I'm ss/kk-manifesto. I'll be complaining about s5ep3 till the end of Tumblr#Back to the real ep1 in question... It was so nice!!!#I take issues with the amv opening because seriously. Don't release a season if you're not ready to release a season. No one will get mad#But other than that the animation and drawings were very nice. This arc makes me a little emotional.#It's funny how you can see the anime editing staff gradually get really into chromatic aberration lol.#Like it's always been present as far as I can rememberâ#but it went from season 1 being used very sporadically to s5ep1 being used in every single shot lol.#It's okay tho it's not bothersome the slightest. It gives some kinf of depth to the shot I suppose.#Even funnier that Harukawa has been using it a lot in their last colour illustrations as well ahah.#Last chapter it was very noticeable both in the chapter cover and color page#Mmmmhhhh...#When Atsushi says âI know where Kamui-san is! He's in the middle of an assassination!â; isn't that a kind of plot hole?#I don't think in reality Fukuchi was killing anyone at all at that point.#And even if Ranpo says otherwiseâ looking back we can be fairly certain that Fukuchi never plotted to seriously assassinate the ada#Idk ÂŻ\_(ă)_/ÂŻ#There's some little lines from the manga I was missing this episode. The âI hate dealing with this decay member the mostâ.#The âGreat! Anything you want! Just say âI want this case solvedâ and I'll step right up andââ.#I know it's really nothing at all / perfectly understandable cuts...#But at the same time they really add to the overall pacing and make the story flow much more enjoyable for me (â§âœâŠ)#random rambles

Forgot to mention it but there was a huge debate at my study group the other day about wether or not you could call yourself an historian after getting your bachelor degree and two of my favorite profs were defending opposing views and they were trying to keep it light and funny but you could see that they were getting lowkey heated and for a so-called academic I actually don't do that well with conflicts so I was like haaa mom and dad stop arguing!! T_T but anyway, my one german prof that some have called 'intimidating' went to see me me and my buddy who accidentally started the debate earlier (by joking that he was about to graduate and could finally call himself an historian), put his arms around our shoulders and kindly told us that we could call ourselves historians if we want so I guess that was some nice validation lmao
#i'm not even about to graduate right away but i'll take it lmao#i don't care what the world says as long as mr. B agree with me i know i'm in the right#and he's like a real historian if you google his name that's how google define him and he published cool books and all lol#tho to me he will always be the very sweet man who asked me if i needed him to call me an ambulance after i almost passed out in his class#(i was like nooo can you just go get me some water and i'll walk home. he was perplexed but i survived lol)#for some absolutely cursed reason he looks a little bit like ben shapiro on his google picture but oh well that's not his fault lmao#i don't want to actually doxx myself by naming him but i probably will when i graduate or something 'cause he's cool and sweet#btw no i don't think you can be fully qualified as an historian with only a bachelor#but yes i do think that the question is a bit more nuanced and that's pretty much what my nice prof defended#like my druggie early 20's self had some genuine understanding of the middle ages and interesting thesis about Edward II and his bunch!#and many other 'amateurs' have something to bring to the field and we should very much embrace that! i'll that on that hill!!#but my other prof is also super nice and not an elitist asshole btw i'm not even trying to talk shit#he's this stern italian man who always gave me As and then wrote long paragraphs about how i could do much better and i love him lmao#he thought me about medieval poetry and every single one of his classes is a great memory#but yeah he's uptight and european and old-school and tbh i kinda respect that too lol

â Backstage Pass â
David Howard Thornton x Fem!Reader (Pt.1?)
Warnings: Mild suggestive, flirting (and the massive amount of tension that comes with it), release of the tension, slow burn.
Summary: You manage to get backstage access to a Terrifier panel where David is present, you end up striking a conversation with him and one thing leads to another.
[A/N: Hi guys, this is my first ever published fanfic â Be kind â ïž â Sorry if anything lol. Btw, I hope y'all like to read fr cuz this fanfic surely is for readers]
[ · · · ]
The low hum of the convention floor buzzed around you, but for the moment, it felt as though the world had quieted down. You stood backstage, just outside the makeshift white room where David was preparing for a panel at the horror convention. Your excitement of meeting the actor behind Art the Clown was palpable, it was the man himself â the warm, approachable, and genuine David
You had spent the better part of the day anxiously navigating your way through autograph lines, fan meet-and-greets and photo ops, but now, standing backstage, you had a rare chance to speak with him outside the chaos. You never expected an encounter like this but here you were, a quiet moment with the very man who had terrified and fascinated you all at once
Davidâs head peeked from behind the curtains, his bright blue eyes meeting yours â âHey! Youâre the one who was talking about makeup techniques earlier, right?â â his voice had a casual charm, free of any of the sinister vibes Art was known for
You nodded, a bit stunned that heâd even remembered you from earlier in the day â âI'm Y/N by the way... And yeah, Iâm just starting to get into prosthetics, but I love how the horror community brings so many elements togetherâ
He smiled, a grin that reached his eyes and softened the sharpness of his features â âY/N. And oh I totally get that. Thereâs something about horror that feels like a puzzle, you know? Acting, makeup, lighting⊠everything needs to come together for the whole thing to workâ
It felt like a small moment of mutual understanding, and you couldnât help but feel drawn to his enthusiasm. Here was David, the man behind the terrifying clown, speaking with such openness.
âSo...â â David said after a beat, his tone playful â âwhatâs your favorite kind of horror?â
âItâs a toss-up but Iâd say psychological horror, something that messes with your mind, makes you question whatâs realâ â You said
He nodded thoughtfully, his expression turning serious for a moment â âYeah, that kind of horror is powerful. But I have to admit, sometimes I miss just making people jump... Itâs a bit of a guilty pleasure for meâ
You laughed loud, the sound echoing through the quiet backstage space â âI bet! Itâs a great feeling though, knowing you can make people react like thatâ
Davidâs eyes lit up, a mischievous glint appearing â âWell... I think weâve got some time for a little more talking, but itâs not going to be quieter once the panel starts, I'll eventually get busy... Youâre sticking around, right?â
You hesitated, the pull of curiosity and excitement making you eager to continue the conversation â âOf course! After the panel, would you like to talk more? What about... Grabbing a drink?â
David raised an eyebrow, the playful smile tugging at his lips again â âPerfect, was just thinking the same thing. And I could definitely use a quiet moment away from the crowd... There's a nice cafĂ© nearby, just behind the buildingâ
You felt a jolt of anticipation. This was no longer just a fan encounter. The conversation had shifted from polite exchanges to something more personal, a subtle invitation hanging in the air
âPerfect!â â You replied, feeling your nerves melt away â âSee you there thenâ
âI'll be there as soon as the panel is finished" â He replied
[ · · · ]
sorry but I don't have the patience
to write a 'in between' lol
You entered the café David mentioned about earlier, the ambiance was calm as expected. Dave was already there tucked in a corner booth, his eyes eventually meet yours and he sweetly waves at you. Walking in his direction you sat down, wasting no time to start chatting. David had his hands wrapped around his coffee mug, leaning slightly forward, completely engrossed in the story you were telling him
âAnd thatâs when I realized..." â you laughed, glancing down in embarrassment â âIâd been talking to the director with fake blood still smeared all across my cheek!â
David chuckled â âYouâd fit right in on a horror set with a story like thatâ â he said, tilting his head with that trademark playful smile â âSounds like you were born for the genreâ
You felt a warmth rise in your cheeks, not just from the flattery but from the way he looked at you â as if you two were the only people in the room. For someone who could be so chillingly silent in his role as Art, David had an openness and kindness that made you feel immediately at ease
Both of you shared another laugh, you noticed his fingers drumming gently against the ceramic cup, a little habit he seemed unaware of. The small, endearing detail felt so far removed from the menacing persona he played on screen. In that moment, you wondered how many people really got to see him this way, relaxed and unguarded
âSoâ â David said, breaking the silence â âI have to ask... why horror? Why would you willingly choose a field that involves blood, guts, and a thousand ways to terrify an audience?â
You took a sip of your coffee, considering an answer â âI think itâs the honesty of it... Horror doesnât hide from what people fear. It embraces it. And creating that⊠Itâs almost like a dance between knowing what scares people and making them feel safe enough to face it. Itâsââ
âPowerfulâ David finished for you, a look of understanding in his eyes â âYeah. I think I know what you meanâ â he paused â âThatâs exactly what draws me to it. Thereâs something about the way peopleâs walls come down when theyâre scared. You can see who they really areâ
Your eyes met with his, a silence settled between you and him, charged with something unspoken. You felt a flutter of nervous excitement, this was David Howard Thornton, a master of horror, sharing his personal thoughts with you as if you were an old friend
âHey-â â Davidâs voice softened, breaking the tension â âI just realized how late itâs getting. But honestlyâŠâ â He glanced down, almost shyly, before looking back up with a small grin â âI don't want this conversation to end just yetâ
You hadn't realized how much time had passed, you feel your heart skip â âMe neither...â
He hesitated, then gave a casual shrug â âI have a bottle of wine back at my hotel...â â he said with a hint of playful mischief â âIf youâre up for it, we could keep talking there... No pressure though â I promise Iâm far less terrifying off the setâ
You both laughed, but you felt a thrill run through your body. You werenât entirely sure what to expect, but the invitation in his eyes, the warmth in his smile, left little room for doubt
âWell...â â you said, mirroring his grin â âas long as you leave the clown mask behindâ
David let out a low, warm chuckle and reached out, his hand brushing against yours just briefly â âDeal.â
[ · · · ]
at the hotel
The elevator doors slid open, then shut with a soft thud â the hum of the machine filled the otherwise quiet space between you both. David stood closer, his presence palpable as the two of you ascended to the upper floors. You could feel the heat of his body next to yours, the subtle hint of his musky cologne, the faint rustle of his clothes as he shifted slightly
The tension from the cafĂ© was still there â unspoken, but thick. You could both feel it in the air, like an electric charge that had been building ever since the moment you'd first exchanged words. But now, in this small quiet space, it was almost impossible to ignore
David caught your eye, a soft smirk playing at the corner of his mouth â âIâm glad you agreed to come. Itâs nice to get away from the madness for a bit you knowâ
You nodded but you could feel your heart rate picking up, the proximity between you and him making your thoughts scatter â âYeah, itâs⊠really niceâ â your voice sounded quieter than usual, and you couldnât help but notice how close he is standing, how his shoulder brushed against yours every so often
The elevator dinged, signaling the arrival at Davidâs floor, you both stepped out. David led the way to his room, his long strides confident, though there was a subtle energy about him â something different than the actor youâd seen on stage. The man before them now seemed grounded, a little more vulnerable, but still just as captivating
As you two reached the door, David turned to you with a quiet smile â âMake yourself at homeâ â he said, pushing the door open and holding it for you to enter. The room was cozy, warmly lit
You stepped in, the scent of fresh linen and something faintly musky lingering in the air, his cologne you thought. You took a moment to glance around but David was already moving toward the small bar area by the window, pouring two glasses of wine
âCare for something?â â he asked, glancing over his shoulder with a playful glint in his eyes
âSure, why not?â â You replied, voice a little breathless. It was hard to focus on anything other than the man before you, the way he moved, how effortlessly he carried himself. It was a strange mix of charm and allure, the kind of presence that seemed to draw people in without effort
David handed you the glass, his fingers brushing for just a second longer than necessary. His touch lingered, and you both looked up at the same time, locking eyes. There was something in his gaze â soft yet intense.
âCheersâ â he murmured lifting his own glass, clinking your drinks together
The conversation flowed easily at first, light and casual, but the air felt heavier now. David shifted slightly, moving a little closer as he leaned against the back of a chair, eyes never leaving yours. It wasnât uncomfortable. In fact, it was the opposite.
You set your drink down on the table, feeling a quiet tension building â âYou know... I never thought Iâd end up in a hotel room with someone like youâ
David raised an eyebrow â âSomeone like me?â
You laughed softly, a little nervous â âYeah, someone so⊠different from Artâ
Davidâs smile deepened, and he moved a fraction closer â âI think Iâm a little more like Art than you realizeâ â he teased, there was a softness in his voice and a hint of something else, something that wasnât just playful
âI donât knowâŠâ â your voice faltering for a moment â âM-maybe youâre rightâ
David didnât say anything for a moment, but his gaze darkened just slightly, his focus never wavering. He stepped a little closer, his presence suddenly overwhelming in the best way
âYou know Y/Nâ he said quietly, almost a whisper â âIâm glad you stayedâ
[···]
The silence between you both thickened, hanging in the air. David's gaze softened, his lips parting slightly as though he was considering something. Drawn to the warmth of his presence, you got closer. David didn't move away. Instead, he stood perfectly still, giving you space to decide what to do next. A quiet hunger in the way he looked at you.
âI dont want to rush thisâ â David said softly, voice low and deliberate â âBut, I can't pretend I'm not completely drawn to youâ
You reached up, fingers brushing against his arm, the warmth of his skin beneath the fabric of his shirt. David inhaled sharply, his body tensing just a bit at the contact.
âAre you sure?â â he whispered, his hand reached out, fingers barely grazing the edge of your wrist. You nodded, voice barely above a breath â âYeah, I'm sure.â
David's hand gently cupped the side of your face, thumb grazing the curve of your jaw â savoring every second. David's face was so close now that you could feel his breath against your skin.
His lips brushed against yours, soft and tentative at first. His hands slid down, pulling you closer. He grabs your waist hard and you accidentally let out a small moan... That's when he finally kisses you, letting out a low whimper himself. The kiss gets deeper, sucking and biting. You respond instinctively, fingers threading through his gray hair, drawing him in as the kiss became more urgent, more desperate.
You break the kiss for a moment to catch your breath, foreheads resting against each other and trying to collect yourselves. This had been building all night, ready to break.
âYou're incredibleâ â David murmured, his voice thick with desire
You met his gaze â âI can say the same about youâ
âI've wanted this all nightâ â He confessed
David's hands slid down your back, guiding you firmly towards him, towards his thighs. Now straddling him, your fingers tightened in his hair as his hands moved, exploring the curves of your waist, savoring every detail about it. His hands slid down your dress, up your thighs and finally resting on the hem of your panties... His eyes pledged for yours, for assurance â You nodded
âYou're not going to regret thisâ he whispered

i was just (re)reading your "reheat" oneshot and one part that stood out to me was izuku apparently "making a show" of him rolling up his shirt sleeves because reader finds it attractive. but my question is how did he find that out???????? did reader tell him that they find it to be alluring??? i need answers (just please dont do it nsfw, i'm not really into it lol) đđ
(btw i love your writing<3)
Ahhhh I'm SO glad someone caught this! I'm a sucker for the little details, and you found one of my favorites đ„°đ„° SFW it is~
And truly, it honestly shouldn't be such a saucy thought, Izuku rolling up his sleeves... It's a pure and simple fact that you love every bit of Izuku, whether he's dressed up or down. What's not to love? But here we are, and I'll tell ya exactly why.
How you came to enjoy this harmless little show was the sum of many 'harmless' moments, though they all have one thing in common:
Acts of Service.
Reheat shows it best, but here's how our darling Izuku reckoned it was a solid plan of distraction...
Pairing: Midoriya x reader
Reheat: ORIGINS
Izuku is an extremely thoughtful person, as we all know and love. He'll be in your corner to listen, tell you just what you need to hear, and do it all with a smile on his face. He'll also be the first to step up and offer his best if it would help make your life easier.
The first time you watched him do it was a night he came around while you were in a self-imposed baking marathon-- and were quickly running out of surface space in the kitchen. Once setting down his workout bag down at the dining table and shucking off his coat, he'd immediately come in reporting for duty...
'How can I help' chirps off Izuku's lips without missing a beat, and before you could even make mention of washing the dishes as you go (to help expedite the process later), he was already rolling the cuffs of his hoodie to keep the ends from getting absolutely soaked. When he catches you staring from he oven range at what he's doing, he assumes it stems from feeling guilty about putting him to work, or refusing the idea that he'd tidy up for you. It's such a high pile that's filling both sides of the sink already, and it's threatening to topple over onto your tray of still-cooling macarons.
He sees it as a stellar trade off: you cook, he cleans. It's a no-brainer in his book!
The next time he does it, you're visiting him at UA while he's hosting some late afternoon office hours (in case some students wish to stop by for some pre-exam help). It's a slow afternoon, and when he complains about it over text, you surprise him with a little green tea boba pick-me-up. By the time you arrive, he's on the phone with some insurance company about a rate change that he's been meaning to call about.
He's a bit grumpy over it. Why they keep hiking prices like this, he'll never fully understand, but would kill for some transparency in billing, y'know?
"No- I'm not interested in upgrading the policy, it's covering everything I need it to -back at my starting rate. No, no dependents. No secondary vehicles either-- maam, I rent an apartment; I don't even own a home yet- why would I need a byline for acreage protection?!"
Poor Izuku's brows are tented as he navigates the skin sufferable conversation... But all the while, he's flexing -a flick of the wrist in each movement- as he cuffs his sleeves towards his elbows.
You don't realize you're staring until he stops moving. Looking up to his eyes again, they're more confused at you now, with a built shoulder precariously balancing his phone to his ear.
'What's wrong?' he mouths to you.
You immediately shake your head, and just motion for him to carry on. You rest your chin in your hand when he continues, but he doesn't say more on the topic when the woman returns from the other end of the line with more bad news.
"-b-boating protec-?? Ma'am, may I be perfectly real with you? I-I am on a teacher's salary! Can I please just revert back to what I was paying before so I don't have to auction off my AllMight limited editions??"
So firm, so capable... so stupidly attractive doing such a small thing... Izuku maybe a bit preoccupied at the moment, but he's starting to catch onto you, for there's gotta be something behind your interest in his forearms.
Finally, it all clicks into place. In Hatsume's Tech Lab, where you're picking up Izuku from after an off-site field trip of sorts for his support course students does Izuku finally get what's going on.
He's taken up some elective classes for their class route, in addition to his hero course homeroom. In the R&D department, he's trying on some gloves and explaining their features to you in excitement for its intended recipient, his good friend Shoto Todoroki, while his students all bound off elsewhere.
"He even came up with the design; pretty stylish, I'd say! Much better than his first costume, less bulky as well. Mei says we're the same size so I could try for fit before she ships them out to him- hhhnr... well- still kinda hard to- c'you hold this one, baby? here, lemme get them on for real.."
Setting the gloves to your waiting hands, your eyes double in interest. Tongue wets your lips slightly. And shockingly, your mouth moves before you can stop yourself.
"Oooo, my lucky day~ Roll 'em up, babe~"
"that's the problem with this tech. There's safety resistance in the cuffs: they're great for compression, but it's a bit tight for tryin' to get over-- w-wait. What?"
Izuku chances a look at you in that one, thirsty moment.
"Do you-- like this?"
"Mhm~"
".. just- rolling up my sleeves? Like this?"
"Mhmmm~"
Though you've solidly convinced Izuku that his scars are to be worshipped just as much as his heart, he can't believe your starry-eyed look while he does this.
Cheeky, Izuku thinks surely you're messing with him, "Goodness the way you're looking at me, you'd think I was showing you my six pack..."
"Eh, that's nothin'," you tease, "impressive, don't get me wrong, Mr. Midoriya- but anyone can work out. This.. takes finesse."
Izuku sprouted a warming blush over his ears, wrenching a calm exterior into place despite your loving teases.
"Finesse, huh?-"
"Slower, babe," you sink onto a palm again, batting your eyes again, "you look good like this."
"Y-You're a mess..."
"I'm your mess now, handsome."
Izuku peeks up and out towards the hall having just settling his right cuff into place. Then, he's looking back to you all mushy at what he finds there. Complete love. It's earned you a kiss -to affirm his feelings for you, of course!- but also to get you to stop fawning over him where anyone could see.
Your fingers will trail over the sensitive undersides of his wrists while he cups your cheeks into place. Any insecurity he may have once held about his scarring has been snuffed out by you a long time ago, but Izuku now realizes it's not just an accepted sight, but a welcome one.
"Good to know this is a sure method to get your attention, honey," he'll whisper between kisses.
It's the preemptive motive that gets you:
Izuku is so ready and willing to help anyone at a moment's notice, to take charge and get things done: to the point where watching him prep to get his weathered hands involved is an attractive sight. He's the first to go the extra mile for you, no ask too big or favor too small.
It might be a quick adjustment to his outfit for comfort, but the look suits him so well. So yes, even as he rolls up his shirt sleeves, you find him insanely, unfairly handsome.

OAKY I GIGGLED. HELLO?
I have even achieved Cuba ending from final Trial already, you don't know how confused I was when I did it on my 3rd day of playing on a 1st try. Lmao.
I don't find most of the horror games scary actually, so don't worry.
So far I only played everything on Introductory, trying to get A+ on everything. Later I will pick up harder mods.
I don't understand how Bambino mode works tho?
Like it's different section of game and yet you have almost the same matches? I think?
I still have a lot to discover!
Btw, I'm impressed by the way how quick you've answered. Wow, thumbs up darlin'! đ«
So let me slide into your scenario's this idea;
Imagine, bad argument /w this baby boy.
How does he behaves when it's his clearly fault, readers or it's equal?
What if he gets silent treatment due to all of that?
So many reasonabilities, scary.
If you have questions pls feel free to ask!! I'd love to help the best I can.
Bambino mode takes normal game modes and adds Barbi into them :D for example Kill the Snitch is the first trial you play when you first start. Bambino mode means both Coyle AND Barbi are in the trial and you need to deal with them both lol. Funnily enough it's called "bring the baby to work day" or something and it's so true. Poor reagent bringing Barbi with them everywhere they go lmfaooo. Reagent can't catch a break. Barbi would be pouty and pissed off, let's be so for real. If you're in the wrong, you need to prove how sorry you are. He'll want a cuddle, a blowjob or want you to do something insane during a therapy. Totally depends on his mood.
If he's in the wrong, he'll be pissy and it'll take him a while to even admit that he's wrong. Honour is extremely important to him, but even then, his stubbornness will make it difficult. The silent treatment will kill him, though. Like he WILL threaten to use Lupara, and if all else fails, he'll get on his knees.
If the both of you are wrong, he'll make you two drink to it. You both fucked up, that's fine and dandy by him. Equal responsibility.

I was wondering About the reason gege chose to make megumi trapped inside of sukuna, and got some ideas...
don't take this super seriously it's just for fun & sorry if my English sucks.
So we know sukuna has megumi's memories from when he was possessing his body, so he thinks megumi was abandoned by his parents (because that's what megumi thinks), and knows that gojo took him in and is almost a parental figure...
BUT GUYS SUKUNA SAID HE WAS A WRETCHED CHILD!! HE WAS UNLOVED!!
He said this while in Megumi's body btw.
(He killed ate his brother in the womb, and possibly killed his mother too? We need that backstory ASAP)
you could say he was born cursed, he killed those closest to him just by being born.
He could gain respect and devotion, and fear, and all that because of his strength, but not true love.
we know yoruzu loved him, but he didn't reciprocate nor did he take her seriously, because he doesn't see her as an equal, she doesn't get him, he doesn't connect with her.
because those below him don't understand.
He can't find love beacuse he can't find an equal.
he's one of a kind.
(Reminds me of that video of the last kauai bird singing to a female that will never respond because he's the last of his kind, it's actually so sad..)
So he reincarnated as a curse!!
and kashimo called him out on this, why did you come back?? didn't you die?? Are you perhaps looking for something??
And him saying love is worthless right after killing gojo too, like... this was his chance to find love but it didn't work out đą
If he truly didn't care about it then what is this???
He incarnated in the same era that satoru was born, what are the odds??
He was ruminating yorozu's words in his head every time he sees gojo, he can't help but think of love when he sees him, because he's the strongest person he fought, the closest to actually reach him.
But when even gojo couldn't keep up, he gave up for real, All this talk about not needing love, he's saying this because love is the thing he can't have, so he's like fuck love who needs it? its worthless i have everything I need.
He doesn't want to feel helpless, he's like: who said I even wanted love in the first place?? Baka!! (Tsunkuna is very real)
Doesn't mean he's gonna just forget about gojo though, what he felt during the fight with gojo was incomparable with anything he ever felt.
And I would say he needed to lose gojo to realize this..
Like... what is this...Sukuna???
He hasn't been the same since he killed Gojo I'M TELLING YOU!!
He's starting to question himself after centuries!!
What changed?? Huh Sukuna????
So...back to megumi
When gojo hugged him in the fight, we were wondering if he's hugging megumi or sukuna..
I think the point is that HE'S HUGGING THEM BOTH!!!
(He's also doing it to avoid getting cut off by sukuna, pun intended)
Gojo hugging Sukuna is the equivalent of hugging a cat that keeps scratching you lol.
And when sukuna did the same and bypassed gojo's infinity [which only sukuna managed to do by the way] the result was gojo's death, like?? Sukuna really be killing everything he touches huh... this and his poor baby brother.
We know one of Satoru's main goals is that he doesn't want anyone to feel lonely..
THAT INCLUDES SUKUNA TOO!!!
And he felt like he failed to do that!! He couldn't keep up, once sukuna reached him and bypassed his infinity he immediately died.
I guess the parallelism between sukuna and megumi is being symbolized by megumi looking all depressed and lonely inside of sukuna, they're the same, and satoru tried to save both.
The fact that megumi's name means blessing, and he's inside sukuna the king of curses...
I guess it was implied megumi was a blessing to gojo in that scene when he found him.
And he asked him to become stronger to keep up with him..
And he did!! But as a vessel of sukuna..
Gege what does that mean..
is Love the strongest curse? Or is it a blessing?đ
Gege Are you even doing this on purpose??
#jjk#jujutsu kaisen#gojo satoru#ryomen sukuna#sukugo#gosuku#my post#gege please don't let this age horribly

The Heart Killers EP 7 - (text) reaction
After two full weeks, I am ready. Spoiler alert - this episode is 1000000000/10 for me.
PART 1 / 4
I've seen so many times EP6, and all the previous EPs to be honest, these days and yet the preview hits hard. I don't remember EVER being so invested in a series. A combination of my 2 favorite ships with my favourite director outside of school/uni does the trick.
Please, Kant, say the truth! Bison told you more than once that he appreciates being told the truth before hand - since you don't already know he knows. I don't think I believe the captain when he said Bison would have killed him if he told the truth. He would be angry, sure, but if Bison knew he did it for Babe, I think he would understand. Not sure about their relationship though.
Sh*t, Bison's with Babe. Bison, didn't you have to be with Fadel? Or at least, that's what you told Kant at the bar. Surprise you say? Mmmh, maybe some time has passed since last EP, ok.
Wow, this Bison and the Bison we saw in the last frame of EP6 are (or rather, seem) 2 different people. His acting is scary ... Khaotung is literally awesome.
Happy birthday, Bison! So, 25 now? I do wonder if it's even real or just a ruse to get Kant. Also, how many birthdays are they celebrating in the making of this series - First, Dunk and Khaotung celebrated theirs while filming, now Bison too.
Yeah, this is all very fishy, I don't like it. Be very wary, Kant.
Style!!! Hello!?!?! That was sooooooooooo hot, Fadel! I need to watch it again ... for science. And maybe gif it, I don't know. The way he pulled Style from beneath the car was 10/10 for me.
Fadel's really into garage sex, I see. And that kiss - Joong!!! Please, continue to give lessons in kissing, you can use Dunk as prop, no worries. BTW, Tutor did a similar lesson with Yim in Cutie Pie, but their kiss was much more sweet (they've changed A LOT since then).
Same excuse for popping up unexpected ⊠damn! It is a ruse.
BTW I just saw the first part is 30 minutes - what?! How long is this episode?
Well, you did change for him, Fadel, so. At least, you're acknowledging it.
No, dad!! That was also a very nice kiss you just interrupted. Good for you, to get to know Fadel. Style's dad is great.
Also Fadel auto-inviting himself to stay over. Are the brothers thinking to look for something at their respective boyfriends house? Like Kant did in the room downstairs. Sh*t, did they actually see the footage? I am getting worried for our little snitchers. Will the brothers really love them to death?! Soffocate him with kisses and romance, Fadel! LOL
Dad's speech almost made me cry. I see Fadel is also having a really hard time reconciling Style's dad story with the snitchers' agenda.
"No matter what happens, I'll keep all the good memories." Oh, Bison.
He's also saying "I love you" ⊠and Kant said it back. And the music so ominous.
You ARE happier, you smile more ... you wear colors. We all see this, Fadel.
Happy belated birthday, Fadel! Yep, all the birthdays ahaha
That shirt is a crop top!!!!!!!!! Style, the man that you are - you got him in a crop top! EDIT: Dunk, that pic you posted is THE heart killer.
LOL Style got scared for a second there. That's not a real gun, don't worry ... for now. EDIT: can we appreciate that Style got more scared of Fadel with the BB Gun than with the actual gun?! Again, priorities.
"i'll be your shield" is so ironic. LOL "He started all this" âŠ. are Fadel and Bison THAT good at finding the truth after all?! It's like a mine field this conversation ⊠poor Style. "Make sure no one shoots me in the back" ahahahahahaha "Can i trust you with that?" OMG such a loaded question. And the worst part is Style is actually getting what Fadel is saying - like, what's he really saying. Even as incredulous as he is, he can see the loaded questions. I fear for the end of this episode.
Oh f*ck f*ck f*ck, another gun ⊠please tell me its not real ⊠sh*t, it is ⊠Bison!!! Well, we were waiting for unhinged Bison after all. Thank you, Fadel.
2 nights ago ⊠no, not the trophy. I am crying same as Bison. That trophy was like a symbol of an innocent Bison, a sweet waiter, not a cruel cold-blooded killer. And he literally burnt it.
He also told Fadel about how Style got into the mess; right, he knew about Style not being 100% truthful, I forgot. "I trust you more than anyone" - this hurt like a mother trucker. At least he's honest, we'll give Bison that. Joong and Khaotung, you both own this scene - congratulations!! Cannot compliment you enough.
"Nothing hurts more than betrayal" after he just found out that he was betrayed by both Style and Bison, the two people he loves and (let's face it) trusts more in his life. Oh, Fadel! I feel for you.
"And I mean crazy in love, not crazy like a psycho." LOL Fadel, yeah should have been more specific. You need to explain it very well to Bison.
Man, how much it hurt Bison to say "My boyfriend's the best" ⊠kudos, Khaotung!
Style shot Kant in the back, then said "Love sure makes you do something stupid" ⊠P'Jojo!!!! and Fadel moving to stand besides his bf - foreshadowing, anyone?
Also, wait a second - those were BB guns, not paint balls ⊠so, they'll do another one?! Maybe when all is well âŠ..
Ooooooh, now you're looking at the footage, Bison. See, it was there all along!
Wtf?! That was gory as hell ⊠at least it was in black and white. Fadel's imagination was horny, Style's was sensual/emotional, Bison's ⊠scary crazy. How many ways he's killing him?!
Oh, look how quick reflexes our little hitman has! So cute, a birthday cake - "I'm still your brother". I feel like he's trying better - like Bison told him about Kant and Babe's relationship and he's trying to do better for Bison. Even if/when he's angry with him - the bestest of big brothers really. And they sell it so well, you couldn't tell Khaotung is more than 2 years Joong's senior.
It's all due tonight. Ok, at least they're not dragging it out.
Kant is justly suspicious, Style so naive. He's also the one who knows the least, has lied the least, is the most optimistic. i feel for him. If only life were a Disney movie and we were all protagonists, Style.
PART 2 / 4
Helping a stranger out of nowhere because they are killers, but good ones. I wonder if Style and/or Kant is seeing this.
First's smile should be illegal ⊠its too cute!
Bison's really touched by it. He really likes that necklace. He's about to cry. Me too, sweetie. And it's real, even if you don't believe it.
Please, do marry him! I love that more and more comments about marriage are appearing in Thai BLs. Also, we could put a small novel spoiler here.
Wth?! I got scared too. Style!!! Fadel was really panicking. I thought Fadel drugged him, but then he wouldn't have panicked as much.
"I'm a damn fool. That's how you got me." Crying ⊠At least you're self-aware, good for you, Fadel! Both for being a fool AND for being "got" (no escape possible now). Their lines are sooooooo on point this episode. P'Jojo give yourself and whoever helped you write the script a raise.
He's taking forever to open that necklace - it this your first time, Fadel?
Who was that? Keen? Yep, Keen.
How long is he peeing for?! Please flush and wash your hands. Oh, eew eew eew!
Yeah, jealous my a*s. Oh Style, so naive and waaay too confident. How much this distraction will cost them?!
And as soon as he got back he's already helping Kant with the little kid ⊠oh, Style. Fadel, please just keep him! Also, that mother needs to have her eyes checked - they looked trust-worthy? Those are literally a thief and a professional killer; take the kid to the bathroom with you and have him wait outside your door or something.
Yep, Keen with a gun - a real gun - and his targets and a little kid. Why do I feel he won't care about that like Fadel did? It's a nice parallel they set up between Keen and Fadel, with guns and younger boys.
What?! Not him, the other guy!!! That's a plot twist. That guy looked suspicious, but man! Ok, now what? The killers are playing cops? I do love me some anti-heroes (see almost all of the characters played by Vin Diesel these past 20+ years).
LOL Style. "Take it back! You're my boyfriend!" Priorities set straight. EDIT: Apparently the official translation is too bland, he said "Her husband my a*s! You're my boyfriend!" It's even better, yeah.
Fadel was grazed ⊠sh*t, a knife. Bison! I thought it would have been a gun shot. I don't know if this is better or worse.
Still this divertion probably saved Kant's and Style's life. At least for tonight.
So in the end Keen went undetected. Only Style saw him. Oh, how did he not recognized him from that time in the burger shop? It was a while ago, but he was looking rather intently that time. Kant should have been the only one to not recognize Keen at all.
PART 3 / 4
"I am always here to help". This is such a Style phrase. I love that I got to know that about him.
Also, I love how Style's able to read Fadel so well despite how little he knows about everything. Fadel really should thank Kant for giving him Style.
Fadel's back to his old cold self, right?
"Sounds scary as hell." - yeah, because it is, sweetie. You're showing your cards, Fadel. Why?
"I want to tell you everything." Oh, Kant. Was Bison also about to cry? Even lying there on the bed. Yep, he's not asleep.
Ok, you know what? I see this as a good thing - Kant is now free from the captain. Let's join the killers team! LOL
He took him out. Damn, Bison! With a syringe, too. May I present to you unhinged Bison in action, for real. Not imagination, not stopped by Fadel.
Oh, yeah, you should worry for your friend, for yourself, Style.
Sh*t, just past them. And I bet Bison will think Kant called them on him ⊠damn.
"F*ck, f*ck, goddam*". LOL, I see it's not just me whose saying/writing all these bad words tonight. It's not something I usually do, but I'm probably too hyped for this EP (oops).
PART 4 / 4
Yep, Style realizes something's wrong. Be wary, Style! Oh, from behind, Fadel!!!!! No, poor Style. Also, Fadel was one handed - helpless, really helpless, Style.
The final confrontation - Fadel's voice coming from out of frame like the final nail to the coffin. There's no going back now. Alea iacta est.
"You work for the police." Not really, but I'm not sure how much of a difference that makes right now. Still, Style's so strong here, even almost naked and tied and with a gun to his head - impressive. And he's not telling Fadel about the car. Not that that's so important in the grand scale of things - lies, police, killers; but still. Bison came fully clean with Fadel.
So, Fadel also doesnt know where Bison is. Yep, Bison is truly crazy âŠ. hurt crazy, but you know crazy.
P'Jojo is playing with us, Bison's the psycho crazy one, Fadel wouldnt shoot ⊠right?
And the other bfs are at sea, of course. Make it really hurt, right Bison? He's angry crazy, phycho crazy, hurt crazy, in love crazy ⊠all types of crazy.
Oh sh*t, was Kant also in the plane crash with his parents?!
There's no one there to help you, Kant. Man, he looks so scared - so terrified - and he's trying to calmly talk to Bison. They're both hurting so much right now, it's so painful to watch. And jump it is! I feel like I've been crying this whole episode, man. First, this episode is yours - also Joong's, but mostly yours! You should never say sorry for having played this character, it is amazing really.
Oh, he's got his clothes back - you go, Style! "Yes, Mr. Hitman. I'm scared enough as it is, no need to threaten me."
Still, if you think about it, now that Fadel's more calm than at the pool, he's back to his old self ⊠which Style came to love. With the gun, sure, but it's old grumpy Fadel. Same hard exterior, so maybe also same soft-ish interior? I like Style's look before going to the car, it's like he feels that things are right again. And he likes that. No more too affectionate Fadel, which was too weird for him. Also, he's back to sassying Fadel, which he also enjoys.
See, the music is also Style's jam! After the big scare at the pool, all is well again for Style. EDIT: the big bad scary hitman also took his advice and went to sleep ... yeah, all is well again.
Where are they going though?

Wait I actually love how Sam and Quackity are Dream's safe people in the playdate au :[ 'cuz when he's feeling bad Sam will keep people away and Quackity knows how to keep company while being quiet so he doesn't get worse :[[[
Idk why but I keep imagining the kids somehow showing up on the real dsmp and the shock on everyone when all the kids immediately want Dream (because Dream is safe and he doesn't let people be unfair. Even when he's a stick in the mud he's safe)
(Sorry really really spinning them in my head. Baby Quackity hiding on C!Dream's cape and on his head C!Dream is just chanting "Don't flinch form the baby don't flinch from the baby don't flinch from the baby dont-")
Rude how can you forget Punz, Dreamâs bff lol XD. But I mean safe people may be a bit of a stretch. Sam is also autistic (wait did I mention Dream is autistic? Oops yea thatâs why he is often seen as weird by the other kids and manages to kinda get isolated even amongst people as a result) so he also understands and respects the need for peace and quiet from people. He can often just go home when he gets too overstimulated but Dream doesnât really get that option (since Vik and Lazar take naps in his room), hence why he hides in the slide, so Sam often keeps him company and keeps people away when heâs having a meltdown. Sam is also a peacekeeper as well as the one helping everyone with their creations and stuff whether they need help tying their shoes, help blowing up a floaty, sewing one of Michaelâs eyes back on after Sapnap was a little too rough with him, or fetch the water for Foolishâs sand castle.
Quackity on the other hand is very competitive and devious. Like the boy whoâs always playfully fighting with other boys and making everything a competition. Heâs also the - I learned this new cuss word our parents donât want us to use and I saw these older kids playing this game of two truths and lie where if you get it wrong you get slapped (or something I donât know⊠hopefully you know that kid Iâm talking about). Heâs also the one to throw out insults and start fights easily. He often ends up having to come apologize to Dream later and check if heâs okay and tries to cheer him up with some new game he learned.
Now thatâs an insane idea, though the dsmp is far too explicit for them lol. (No babies btw just kids some pretty young like Lazar, Vik, Schlatt, George and Jack, with Slimecicle as the youngest but he still walks and talks and plays with his older brother, Quackity, before his oldest brother, Purpled, puts him down for a nap.) They all just huddle behind c!Dream, scared of the other members. And Dream is just trying to remind himself that the kids behind him are not trying to stab him in the back. They just want to go home to the real world or get food or whatever and their Dream was always the one to go to. C!Dream is definitely not bitter by this btw nope, definitely not, not sure what youâre talking about, he is absolutely 100% not jealous of everyone being kid Dreamâs friendâŠ
Imagine they come to the dsmp when c!Dream is still in prison and they break him out (get c!Techno to break him out like he does in canon) because - Dream is the safe one who usually has all the answers surely he knows how to get us back to our world⊠When c!Techno shows back up to the audience of anxious kids waiting inside his house with c!Dream hidden in the cape in his arms, c!Philza rushes all the younger ones over to his house so they donât see the bloodied and injured shape he is in. They tell them c!Dream just needs a bath and rest instead of that he was tortured and needs medical attention. C!Techno and c!Philza being the bad parents they are (they did not sign up for this!) donât push back against the oldest kids being stubborn and demanding whatâs going on. They ended up proving to be helpful hands at least⊠When c!Dream is healed and wakes up, the kids pounce on him asking numerous questions in excitement and apprehension. On one hand he hasnât had positive human touch in ages and welcomes it, on the other there are too many hands everywhere and he canât watch them all. They think the scars are really cool, poking at the sensitive tissue and asking where theyâre from, heâs forced to make up wild stories of adventure, pretending their trophies of long ago and not torture from a month ago. He tries not to flinch everytime someone refers to one of the kids as QuackityâŠ
#should it be p! for play date au or k!d for kid dream since they are all kids?#dsmp#dream smp#dsmp au#playdate au#dsmpblr#hello there#me projecting? what I donât know what your talking about - Dream is absolutely not he as a child and Quackity is absolutely not my brother#and my blonde friends never backstabbed me as a kid⊠nope not sure what your talking aboutâŠ.

What kind of worldbuilding would you expect from a world where amputation is really common? (NOT a cyberpunk thing. The technology is somewhere between Bronze Age and Middle Ages, which I know is really broad but Iâm indecisive). Also the most common cause of amputation is disease, not war or anything like that, in case it makes a difference. So far all Iâve come up with is that assistive technology isnât limited to more urban/populated areas, and people treat amputations as commonplace. Sorry if this is too random
Ok, so my answer to this will depend of what kind of tone you want. Do you want it to be normalised in a more idealist/optimistic way, or do you want to do worldbuilding around the new problems that would likely arise and take a more pessimistic approach? Either way there's a lot you can do with a setting like that and I absolutely love world building stuff like this! I was actually working on another post kind of similar to what you're asking for, so I have a lot prepared lol. apologies for the long post in advance.
Here are some questions/suggestions I would consider:
What are the views around Amputation in this setting? Do any stereotypes or beliefs appear around it?
Just because a disability is common, doesn't always mean it's accepted, or accepted unconditionally, nor does it mean people won't make odd assumptions about it. Obviously, if you want something more optimistic, you'll want to go with "it's just a normal part of life, most folks don't really think about it much" but in that case, even accepted disabilities get weird assumptions, stereotypes or even religious beliefs surrounding them. The best example of this in the real world is people who wear glasses. Most folks wouldn't even consider it a disability because it's just so normalised, but it is - glasses are a type of accessibility device. But what comes to mind when you think of someone who wears glasses? Chances are, it's someone smart, maybe a nerd? Glasses have nothing to do with intelligence but we associate people who wear them with it anyway. From what I found, that association formed in the middle ages, as monks and priests wore them to read, and those were people who studied religious texts and passed that information to the public. the common folk saw these people as a source of information and wisdom, forming the idea that glasses were worn by intelligent or wise people. If amputation is common and/or accepted, this kind of thing will probably happen with it too. If amputations are more common in some lines of work than others (either because that job leads to more amputations, or because a lot of people go into that line of work after their amputation) people will start to associate qualities needed for that job with amputees. For example, If the most common reason for amputation is illness, and if that illness is contagious, you might actually end up with a similar belief, that amputation is a sign of intelligence because doctors/healers, who people view as intelligent, are more likely to catch the illness, resulting in more amputations among doctors.
On the flip side, a lot of cultures have disabilities at the heart of many of their beliefs. For example, they idea of the fey replacing children with other fey, is thought to have been people's way of explaining neurodivergence like autism, ADHD and personality disorders before we had words for those disabilities.
Likewise, some European Christians believed people born with disabilities (including limb differences) could be explained by their mothers participating in witchcraft or deals with the devil. These disabilities were pretty common at the time due to malnutrition and a general lack of understanding about how to be safe while pregnant, but they lacked the medical knowledge to be able to explain it, and so superstition took over. If your setting has a similar level of medical knowledge/understanding, something similar might occur. Not every example of this is negative btw. It's thought that early ancient Egyptians believed disabilities such as blindness, especially if it was from birth, were the result of the gods calling them to speak for them. Similar lack of understanding about where the disability came from but this time it has a much more positive outcome.
Also, consider that if it's so normalised, people are going to be much less likely to be afraid of becoming amputees. This can be a positive thing, but it could have run on effects, both in the sense that people are less likely to care to take precautions to avoid things that could result in amputation, and that people may underestimate the impact it will have. Even in the real world, as being an amputee has become less stigmatised (though we are still far from normalised), some people have started underestimating how it will impact you. My prosthetist says the hardest part of his job is watching the realisation that a prosthetic won't be a magic cure hit his patients in real-time. this isn't to say being an amputee is always a terrible and awful and all the other things people think about disability, but it is a BIG adjustment that a lot of folks are unprepared for. In a setting where it's even more common, this is even more likely. It's also more likely that non-amputees will underestimate this impact, and say things like "but I know someone with the same amputation and they're fine!" when someone tries to say they can't/struggle to do something because of their amputation - something that also already happens to me irl lol. People are going to take to being amputees differently, they'll have different limits and different capabilities, how well does your society as a whole understand this?
Finally, think about if there are certain types of amputations that are more accepted/normalised/understood than others. In the real world, leg amputees tend to be more accepted than arm amputees in my experience, and larger amputations/multi-limb amputations carry more stigma and have a lot more bizarre misinformation and stereotypes about them. Is this the same for your world?
What is the general populations view of other disabilities?
Just because one disability is more common or accepted, doesn't mean they all are. This is especially important to consider for comorbid disabilities (disabilities that are connected to, are caused by having, or are usually seen alongside being an amputee). For example, a lot of leg amputees choose wheelchairs over prosthetics, but the degree of acceptance for that in your world will depend on people's view of wheelchair users as a whole. In real life, it's an unfortunate reality that the use of a wheelchair is looked down on and there are a lot of negative stereotypes about wheelchair users which deters a lot of leg amputees from using a wheelchair, even when they really need one. When leg amputees specifically use wheelchairs, we are often said to be giving up or even lazy for not "pushing through" or "trying hard enough" - I have another post here talking about that. This has resulted in a lot of amputee-specific spaces being completely inaccessible wheelchair users. An example of this would be a camp I used to attend specifically for amputees being held in a non-wheelchair accessible location until recently, or amputee clinics (where you go to see doctors who specialise in treating/rehabilitating amputees) having equipment needed for taking measurements essential for getting quality prosthetics, being unusable to people who can't stand up. If they do accept other related disabilities though, there's more stuff to think about (which I'll come back to in the next few points)
Of course, how your world views unrelated disabilities is important to consider too, because chances are there's someone out there with both. How does the general view of disability affect those people? Are people more or less likely to accept that having this other disability means they won't be able to things other amputees can? I'm autistic for example and find it nearly impossible to wear my prosthetic when I'm in burnout, both because it's a lot of energy I don't really have, but also because when I'm in burnout, I'm very sensitive to certain textures, and the feeling of wearing my prosthetics when I'm like that is unbearably uncomfortable.
What has the acceptance/normalisation of amputees done to influence beauty standards?
You see this a lot in cyberpunk but it's worth considering for other settings too. Amputation can be a very visible disability if you want it to be, but in the real world, there is a big emphasis on "looking normal" because beauty standards. This isn't just a modern thing either, there are many stories of real-life knights who lost arms during battle and had armour made for them that hid their missing limb. They were functionally useless (except for maybe backhanding people lol) but the desire to look "normal" outweighed the need for functionality to many.
If amputation is common though, this might not be the case in your setting. This might mean people are freer to explore prosthetics that put function over aesthetics, meaning they might have more advanced prosthetics than you'd typically expect to see in that time period. Alternatively, it might go the other way and you could end up with people who still favour aesthetics over function, but they try to make it look as outlandish and unique as possible.
Beyond how it effects amputees though, if prosthetics are seen as fashionable, do non-amputees try to mimic the look of prosthetics in their outfits? Consider the first point I mentioned here too. If there are certain desirable characteristics associated with amputees, would people trying to present themselves a certain way try to make it look like they're an amputee, even when they are not? Kind of like how people wear fake glasses to look smart or just as an accessory. Alternatively, how dose being an amputee play other beauty standards and expectations? Another real-world example, is that there is a lot of fatphobia in amputee circles, to the point where most teenaged amputees I know have/had eating disorders. Part of it comes from the general fatphobia in the wider population, but its amplified by the fact that many prosthetic components have weight limits on them, and many prosthetic companies refuse to make components for bigger people, not because they can't/it's too hard, but because they say there's no demand for it. So Doctors push the importance of staying below a certain weight so their patents can have access to better tech and it becomes a self-fulfilling prophecy. If there are a lot more amputees though, this might be different, but it's worth considering.
How will it impact architecture?
When we think of medieval or even older structures, "accessible" isn't the word we usually think of. Most buildings had stairs, and the needs of people with different bodies was rarely, if ever considered. But if amputation is more common, this might not be the case, especially if things like wheelchair use are also common/accepted (told you I'd come back to that). Buildings will be more likely to use ramps, lifts (even in ancient times - this could be achieved via pullies or something similar, though it would need to be usable to arm amputees too) or forgo multiple levels entirely where possible. Roads would probably be paved or at least smoothed to allow for easier travel via wheels and cities would be laid out in way that would make traversing them from a wheelchair easier. This would likely have a run-on effect and lead to cities being more accessible to people with horse-drawn carts, wagons, carriages etc too. things would be made with the idea that someone lower to the ground, or someone who needs to use their feet to grab things (and therefore can't reach as high) needs to be able to access the thing too, and a lot more. Even small things, like the way doors are opened might be altered to make it easier to use for someone missing an arm/who's arms are occupied with pushing a wheelchair. Making spaces more accessible in these ways also has run-on effects. I already mentioned the carriages in cities, but it also means you might start seeing small changes to the world, like chairs being made to be more comfortable, or single-handed versions of tools/weapons being more common.
What type of illness is the most common cause? How do people view it? Is it understood?
You mentioned illness is the most common cause of amputation in this setting. In that case, consider what kind of illness is usually the cause. Is it a single disease? if so, is it contagious? How high is the mortality rate? Who does it mostly impact? I lost my own legs to an illness, one that is well-known where I live, but poorly understood - most people just know it's contagious and acts kind of like the flu. This has resulted in some very bizarre interactions with non-disabled people when they find out how I lost my legs. There was a rumour about me in school that I still had the illness, and so because of that my amputations were contagious. It wasn't just children who believed it either lmao. Now as the public has been better educated, those ideas are less common, but weird stuff still comes up occasionally, like the lady who thought my illness was a government conspiracy theory made up to control people and scare them into getting vaccinated, apparently my amputations were unnecessary and all a part of the plot lol. I don't know if I talked about that on this account yet but I think it's probably my favourite weird interaction lmao.
You can also look at how people reacted to COVID for ideas about how people react to wide-spread illnesses that have a high chance of disabling you. Diabetes is another good example too, while it's one of the most common causes for amputation in the real world, people are still very weird about it and a lot of people insist it either doesn't exist or can be treated without medicine (insulin). Does the disease in your world have a lot of untrue information about it too? are there people peddling fake "cures" to take advantage of people who are more at risk?
How has this impacted Medicine as a whole
In medicine, advancements in one field are rarely isolated. When advancements are made in one area, other areas usually follow or are at least influenced. As much as the modern medical industry structure likes to pretend otherwise, it's all connected. In the real world, amputees were a lot rarer (not unheard of mind you, but rarer) because well, bronze-age understandings of things like infection and disease in general wasn't great. people would often die from the side effects of the amputation or the surgery itself (e.g. infections, going into shock because the surgery was preformed while the person was awake, blood loss during surgery, a general lack of understanding of how important hygiene is post-op/a lack of access to proper hygiene etc). So if amputees are more common, that would imply their understanding of medicine is at least a little better than real-life bronze age folks. This won't just stop an amputees though, like i said, it's all connected. Having a better understanding of, say, how infection happens in an amputee, means they will probably have a better understanding of infection in general, which could stop a lot of deaths in other ways. Likewise, sewing a stump closed in a way that won't cause immense amounts of nerve and phantom pain implies a decent understanding of the nervous system in general, which will have run on effects in how a lot of other conditions can be viewed and maybe even treated.
Conclusion
There's a lot more you could consider, but I hope this gave you some additional stuff to think about (sorry for the long response, but like I said, I was already working on a nearly identical post so this was perfect timing lol). Let me know if you need more help, I love this kind of worldbuilding stuff! Also, just to be clear as well, as long as you aren't just ignoring the fact so much of your world is disabled or being super ableist about it, there's no right or wrong answers here. You can have more positive answers to these questions than what I've given as examples, you can go darker, you can have a mix of both, whatever you like. Depending on the tone you want, you don't even have to answer every question if you don't want to. If you have a rather light-hearted setting for example, you probably don't need to know how all your amputees are surviving infections and unmedicated amputation surgery lol, but if its a darker tone where the illness you mentioned is a central focus, then it's probably a good thing to think about at least. At the end of the day, just ensure your answers aren't based on stereotypes or misinformation and you're all good for the most part!

How different are Fear and Angerâs relationship from Mr Becker and Mr Poole? Also how does Becker feel about Poole?
Btw I love your AU <3
OMG THANK YOU I'm literally obsessed w/ Poole and Becker so without further ado-
RUBS MY HANDS TOGETHER
Fear and Anger's relationship is VERY similar to Poole and Becker's relationship, in that it's more or less built on a foundation of mutual respect and appreciation for one another's thoroughness.
As a matter of fact, Poole and Becker themselves aren't really all that different from Fear and Angerâ the only real difference is the added depth from having an upbringing and "realistic" living situation and whatnot. Just imagine Fear and Anger if they grew up in the 60s/70s and picked being lawyers as jobs and go to work so they can pay rentâ that's more or less Poole and Becker lol.
However, the key difference is how their relationships come to be. I don't see a relationship between Fear and Anger having a huge amount of trouble growingâ to me, it seems like something that would come up over time and bring them together.
Poole and Becker did not have it so easy.
Poole and Becker's relationship was built over many years of being work rivals. Becker, being a criminal prosecutor, was naturally wary of Poole, a criminal defense attorney, and they often butted heads both inside and out of the courtroom. This was all made much worse by the simple fact that Becker was more or less obsessed with his work, putting his all into his cases to ensure criminals get justice, while Poole constantly threw a wrench into that simply by being really really good at his job.
All throughout this rivalry, Poole was actually very much crushing on Becker and was always wanting to get closer, showing interest in his personal life, giving him gifts on his birthday, striking up awkward, one-way conversations, etc etc.
Becker (subconsciously) liked him back, but really struggled expressing it, even to himself. He constantly fought all kinds of internal battles, not wanting that weird feeling he couldn't understand getting in the way of his work, to the point where he convinced himself he HATED Poole and wanted nothing to do with him.
Of course, that wasn't super watertight, and over the span of 5ish years they had a weird flirty rollarcoastery professional relationship that would wax and wane ENTIRELY dependant on Becker's mood, until it all fell apart when Becker lost a particularly important case to Poole and lost his temper (a situation which actually exists in 'fanfic' formâ Ego Death)
Following that, they didn't see each other for a few good long months, though after some fancy string-pulling, heartfelt talks, emotional support and coaching from their mutual friend June (AU Joy), they FINALLY came together and became a couple.
Soâ to make a really long story into a short one, Poole and Becker's relationship was built from the ashes of a lot of emotional hurt and misunderstandings. They loved each other pretty much right from the start, they just took a really long time to get untangled. And once they did, they basically became inseparable.
And to answer that last part of the question, for awhile Mr Becker thought Poole was kind of... odd and awkward. But as he got to know him and learn more about him, he found his weird quirks (like owning 3057305730 desk toys and wearing tacky, silly bowties to court) kind of endearing. Not to mention feeling... seen by the way Poole seemed to genuinely care about him, taking time to talk to him outside of court (which he found suspicious at first).

Hi there!!
I would say that I'm both happy and surprised after finding your page...you might ask why, I mean you're a fan of electrons lol.
I really struggle with chemistry, btw I'm assuming you're pretty good at chemistry, so I'm gonna ask how do I get better at chemistry?? I'm struggling with organic the most, physical chemistry is fine, inorganic is meh, but organic is so hard....any tips??
Anyways, good day & thanks!!
(â â§â âœâ âŠâ )
Hello!
I'm nearing the end of my second year of uni and they still haven't kicked me out, so I guess I'm decent enough at chemistry haha
I've answered some similar asks before:
studying nomenclature
studying chemistry in general
Now some tips for ochem in particular:
Stereochemistry: always try to actually visualize the molecule in question in your head. If your 3D imagination is good, cool! If it isn't, you can improve by practicing. I'm a prime example. When the course started, conformations were my worst nightmare, but I kept practicing and now I'm able to rotate molecules in my head :) Some people find building models helpful. You don't have to buy those fancy ones (unless you want to!), my friend would make do with q-tips and hot glue lol and you can also use plasticine.
Mechanisms (given that you need to study them already as I can see you're still in high school): look at the big picture and study the patterns. For example, studying all the possible substitution reactions for all the carboxylic acid derivatives is a Sisyphean task. A better solution is to learn the general mechanism of this addition-elimination reaction that will apply to all the compounds.
Reactions: understand why certain groups of compounds react the way they do (for example: why do alkanes only react with halogens under UV light? Because they only contain single bonds and those are so strong they can't be broken until attacked by a radical - and those are created by UV radiation). For those reactions that you just need to memorize: flashcards, always.
Integrate other bits and pieces of your knowledge: there's a reason why inorganic chemistry is usually taught before organic chemistry, that reason being that all the fundamentals of inorganic chem still apply in ochem. You can convert alcohols to carboxylic acids via redox reactions. Electronegativity explains the reactivity of many compounds. Stoichiometry may determine the products. The list goes on.
Optional but imo fun :) Look for real-life applications of the things you study: freons and the ozone layer depletion, fermentation, fatty acids, aspirin and other medicines, caffeine and other alkaloids, ochem after all is the chemistry of life! This fact definitely helps me refocus when ochem becomes too boring for me.
[@/ ochem fans: any other tips?]
Good day to you too and good luck! đ§Ș

do you have any tips on where and/or how to make blinkies? i want to learn how to make them but don't know how. have a good day btw :3
hiiii i will do my best to give tips!! o7
first of all if you want to get a feel for blinkie making without diving in directly i recommend using a site like blinkies.cafe which lets you just add text to premade blinkie templates! i think it's a good way to get an eye for the blinkies "aesthetic" especially regarding the actual blinking part, the borders, all of that. and ofc the size (which for the record is traditionally 150x20px!)
if you want to actually get into Real Custom-Made Blinkies, studying ones you like up close is a great idea because it'll help you see what works and what doesn't. obviously everyone will have different design sensibilities, but that's why it's always good to take inspiration from things that you personally like!
here are things that i like, as an example:
dotted/dashed borders that blink between two colors
shadows
outlines
pixel art
keep in mind that blinking can be upsetting to the eyes for some people! i always try to not overdo it, but at the same time, they are blinkies, so it seems kind of like a waste when they don't blink at all...
traditionally, blinkies include two things: a picture, and text. they don't always! sometimes there's only a picture, and sometimes there's only text. for example, this blinkie i made of lysandre only has his card art and little hearts. this is once again going to depend on your preferences. but for the sake of explaining, let's say you want one or two simple pictures, and some text.
i find pokémon to be a pretty easy thing to make blinkies for, because you have a large panel of pixel art to choose from! for example, i made this blinkie for my blog using one of the mini scyther sprites. a lot of them are animated, too, which is fun. i can't really advise you on what program to use for animated stuff because i use really old ones LMAO but i've always had a good time using ezgif! you can just feed it your frames and use the website to put them together into an animation.
the text imo is the trickiest part. the blinkies you find on blinkies.cafe use pixelated fonts, but i've had a really hard time using them outside of that context. it's hard to get them to look good imo, especially at the small scale that blinkies end up at... so what i've been doing is making my own little pixel art alphabet. it's very fun for me and i don't think it's as difficult as it sounds, so i definitely recommend it because it gives you a lot more flexibility imo. i handdrew the text for all of my PSS blinkies, as well as the aforementioned scyther one, and this trans rights one. i actually have the trans rights and PSS alphabets completed and saved in a file for later use in case i need them, lmao:
you can see what the process is like: i make a rectangle, draw one letter, and then copy the rectangle to draw the other ones at the same size and in the same style. it's very, um, vibe-based, i guess? you just have to figure out what looks good for your Vision. but i find it super fun... so it's easy for me to do, i guess...
if you want to see the scyther blinkies text closer up, here it is at 500% size:
uncapitalized letters are more difficult than capitalized letters imo, but i think i did an ok job! maybe i'll make a full alphabet for that one too at some point, lmao. for the "tumblr" text i just copied the style of the logo (hopefully that comes through...)
i'm not sure what else to say, so feel free to ask more specific questions if you'd like! i think a lot of the other stuff is more general art/graphics advice, like color theory and the likes, which i'm not sure is worth going over LOL. but as a parting note, i'd definitely suggest not going overboard on the color palette. blinkies are pretty small at their default size, and too many colors will make them really hard to look at, let alone understand. in general, keep in mind the final size when working on something like blinkies, and make sure to zoom out periodically to double check you've got something readable!
and don't forget to have fun đđđ
#la réponse d#in the process of looking thru my blinkies files for this post i realized i had apparently started working on villain team blinkies so uhhh#maybe i'll get back to that LMAO#blinkies

i discovered ur acc not long ago (been lurking coz i dont use tumblr as much anymore. love the survival au sm btw) & coming from someone who begrudgingly has to deal with a faust introject, That subreddit is full of circlejerking troglodytes who're all stuck in 2018 with their "heehoo this is cringe bc i dont get it!!!" rhetoric. as annoying as it is, its funny how upset they get abt factive introjects đđ
Factives are a lot. Especially when it's "unsavory" individuals as well, a lot of unpacking, a lot of internalized feelings, etc etc. For example we had to basically get Ăystein to stop going around with his blatant homophobic micro aggressions, because his source v obviously; grew up in the 70s-80s; and without sugar coating shit, things like my identity were (and yknow kinda still are) considered taboo etc. let alone him having to deal with the fact that is now in a DFAB/AFAB body đ
Plus it's also a reason why he tends to go as my "idenity" because it's easier to mask as me than to deal with people being clowns and douchebags, even though he wants to be open about it bc of stubbornness/etc. I also want to say, I wish you well and luck with your guys lol. Sometimes factives aren't too hard to deal with but it's a hassle and we are currently dealing with a factive who Does Not Want to participate and actively is trying to refuse his position lmfao
People automatically assume I'm speaking on things of the "real" Ăystein and it pisses us off, mostly because no one EVER seems to question or understand Factives, even those who are also systems. Not to mention people who blatantly think the amount of DID people is ridiculous. Though when you look at wildly outdated information regarding DID, even then..the percentage of diagnoses are....very high. It's almost the equivalent of the percentage of Transgender identifying people within the US. That doesn't shock me at all, but it goes to show people spew information like this as if they know what they are saying when it means jack-shit.
But regardless, thank you for your support and Im glad you like the survival AU! It's kinda a joint thing me and my headmates have been working on outside of our job, brushing up on re-learning guitar, and working on band stuff. Also don't be ashamed to lurk, i know there's people who get antsy interacting and would rather just see my work than actively share it, and even then I appreciate it all đ«¶

I'm curious about your *least* favorite transformers ship/one you hate?
personally, I HATE tarnma grrr grr grrr gr
(I don't hate the people who ship it tho, I just ignore it whenever it passes my feed. I do not see it lol)
It's mostly because I'm a massive pharma hater lmao so I'm like, THAT PURPLE HOTTIE DOESNT DESERVE HIS MEDICAL MALPRACTISE LOOKIN ASS
lol
anyway :3333
That is understandable. I personally enjoy a bit of Tarnma but I also have not read anything including Tarn or Pharma yet so I do not have an educated say in this situation. I just think theyâre silly.
This one might be controversial butâŠBlitzbee. LIKE I CANâT WITH THEM IâM SORRY. (TFA specifically btw). I already talked about this in a previous post but OH BOY.
Like itâs just the way Bumblebee is portrayed as a kid in his mid teensâŠand then thereâs Blitzwing whoâs like a war general type deal whateverâŠYIIKES I canât do it.
I know theyâre liek alien robots and theyâre both probably thousands or millions of years old butâŠitâs the portrayal that gets to me. My brain donât like it. I think I have a screenshot about it from TFwiki as well.
No judgement to anybody who ships them but Iâll just no comment, scroll past, no thank you byebye.
Like Iâm not one to hate on people for harmless fun. Iâm just not gonna touch on this one. Yâall go on and enjoy this one but imma go into my own lil corner HUEHEU. We being RESPECTFUL in here ONG !!
Other ships I am not a huge fan of include:
Starbee (Tbh just not interested in their dynamic)
StarOP (Fun concept but I enjoy their dynamic more when platonic)
Anything relating TFA Bumblebee (Reasons stated above)
I donât know if I have more or if Iâve just forgotten HEUEHU. I tbh donât have many ships that I truly dislike though. Like yes I have fave ships and go-to ships, but I would classify myself as a multi-shipper. Iâm open to new ships alla the time and sometimes they even stick and become my faves, yk? Iâm just a multi-shipper with a few opinions. I can have likes and dislikes as a multi-shipper right chat? HUABSUS yeah yeah anyway.
As for least favourite transformer (if that was your second question? Unsure) that falls somewhere between Rattrap and Black Arachnia. Alla my bitches HATE Rattrap. COME ON SAY IT WITH ME!! SHUT UP RATTRAP. WOOOO!!!!! (Beast Wars mfs will knowâŠyâall the real ones ong.)

I just don't get why Ikemoto is drawing AND writing at the same time..... Like it would've been better if Kodachi stayed and wrote the story, Or Kishimoto continues it (which btw he wants vacation lol). Kodachi/Kishi wrote the better story and they had the vision, on the other hand, Ike's writing is literally a fanfiction lol.
Btw, do you think we still have hope for KawaSara, cuz it's looking too rough now? Don't get me wrong, I still ship it, but Idk what to expect lol....
Yeah, whats worse is its not even Ikemoto's fanfiction, he's literally taking actual fanfic/fan theories and makin em canon, and you cant even say its impossible because in the interview he literally gets off track from answering a question to address complaints he was seeing online to defend himself đ so this man DOES look at fandom feedback, so theres no way you can say its totally a coincidence that so many fan theories became canon EXACTLY as they predicted it, theres just no way.
Once or twice you could say that it was a fluke, but this is way more times than one, and the fact that he pretty much confirmed that regardless of fans justified complaints about certain things he will ignore them because 'he likes it that way' so ppl will just have to deal with it.
Meaning having any hope of him taking any of the valid criticism to improve is gone, whatever he likes is what hes gonna do, even if it goes against what even Kishimoto himself wants/wanted because it is HIS story now and Kishimoto has no intention on intervening since hes happy spending time with his family now and isnt ready to let that time go again yet, which is understandable and I hope he takes as long a break as he wants or needs, I just hate that his legacy is being tarnished in the meantime because greedy higher ups WOULDNT let the series die and Kishimoto get a break like he asked for.
The story really did peak under Kishimoto and Kodachi's writing direction, the second the story shifted entirely in IKEMOTOS direction you saw the quality DROP and the story become a directionless convoluted inconsistent mess.
As for if I still have hope for KawaSara...to be honest I dont know anymore, the reveal that Ikemoto is 100% writing and that Kishimoto himself doesnt even know where the story is headed anymore and is just as much a reader as the rest of us, and even if he does give input, he lets Ikemoto have the final say, has gotten me unsure of what to expect anymore.
Under Kishimoto and Kodachi's writing they were pretty strongly hinting at building more on Kawaki and Sarada's relationship, his bond with team 7, to really drive home his betrayal later so that it'd have some real weight and impact from all their build up. So the potential for KawaSara was very high from what they were setting up.
But Ikemoto? yea I dunno what to expect from him, but if where the story direction changed is anything to go by [which Ikemoto confirms was all his doing and its a completely different direction than the one Kishimoto and Kodachi had planned] its safe to say hes tryna push bsa, either that or troll like a mf just to keep those viewers engaged since this manga is tanking more and more every chapter and the biggest supporters are shippers who just wanna see Boruto and Sarada get together for eugenics.
I wont say KawaSara has lost yet or that its hopeless, the ship hasnt been definitively killed off yet, theres still a possibility this is just another NS situation, teasing what the ppl want just to keep em readin till the very end where he finally says alright now for the real endgame once he no longer has anything to lose by pissing off bsa lol
Even if Im unsure about KawaSara at this point in time, Im still fairly confident in BoruSumi even tho alot of ppl have written her off just cuz she doesnt have a hug scene [NH doesnt either anywhere in the manga but NS does] or a reckless attempt at saving the other [according to KK Sarada and Boruto both would've died if not for the other shinobi arriving when they did so she didnt even save him fr so this argument is invalid]
They also downplay her feelings just because shes more reserved and rational than Sarada, which is kinda the point of opposites attracting and balancing eachother out [Minato being the quiet calm level headed one while Kushina is hot headed and loud] whereas Sarada and Boruto are both portrayed as hotheaded rebels apparently, their kinda the same person atp but thats another topic for another day.
Point is KawaSara is up in the air, but BoruSumi shouldnt be counted out yet, lack of screentime and interaction didnt mean jack shit for NaruHina, SaiIno, or ChoKarui, so lets not pretend its the ship killer for BoruSumi.
Lets also not pretend that SS didnt also go through one hell of a rough patch cuz they did, and they still became canon in the end, so again lets not pretend these things are ship killers alright because they aint, the real meat of the story hasnt happened yet, and Kawaki is supposed to be getting more development soon so lets see how that goes and who its with first and judge further from there.
